3. Students will demonstrate correct fingerings for the notes within the piece of music. They will work in pairs to challenge and help each other to figure out the fingerings quickly. The class will say the names of the notes as they finger them on the recorder together as a class.

After the class is able to play the music, students will be recorded through AudioBoo for assessment as well as video recorded for their portfolios. Those students who can perform 80% of the notes and rhythms accurately will recieve a white belt for their recorder.

Students will sing the notes using Mi, Re and Do in pairs and then as a whole group with piano accompaniment. Students will then play their recorders while being audio recorded into Audioboo (LINK: http://audioboo.fm/ElementaryMusic) and then individuals will be recorded via Flipcam and posted into their Vimeo account portfolio (www.Vimeo.com). Those students who receive an 80% proficiency grade or higher will receive a white belt for their recorder.
